Why This Training?
Inside every small conflict is a significant conflict trying to get out. A minor conflict, incorrectly handled, may escalate to become a substantial conflict spreading like wildfire. We can see the devastating consequences of unchecked conflict within our churches today. These unresolved conflicts cost us time, money, and energy that may serve better elsewhere if we are proactive in dealing with them when they were small. The consequences of this lack of peace within some of our congregations have divided families, split congregations, and cost precious souls.
What Makes This Training Different?
While based on years of solid research, our training works because it is simple, skills-based, and practiced, so each student leaves the class knowing they can perform the skill. Each student will go with the skills needed to change a conflict, not just head knowledge. Further practice will be expected post-instruction for continued development of skills and growth in mastery of them.
Three Goals
-
We aim to make the material explainable, transferable, and sustainable.
- We desire to “train the trainers” to deliver the material in their Regional Family of Churches.
- We want to equip the trainers to be able to implement the skills they have learned, to help manage some of the conflict situations within their Regional Family of Churches.
